Microneedling: What to Expect
The Best Results
The most significant and lasting results occur with a series of treatments. Patients come for four monthly treatments. Most people begin to notice improvement in facial tone about 3 weeks after the first treatment, and the results continue to improve with each subsequent treatment. After four trements, many people find the results can last for up to 5 years. Some patients choose to come for quarterly tune-up appointments t maintain the best results.
Preparing for your Visit
Please come with a clean washed face clear of makeup, moisturizer or other skin products. For scalp treaments, please come without and hair mousse, gel or hairspray.
Subsequent Private Visits
At follow-up treatments, I will check in with you about any changes to your health, feel your pulses, then do a Chinese medicine treatment which may include: acupuncture, gua sha, cupping, infrared lamp, liniments, or moxa. You will then have time for a deep, healing rest while the acupuncture clears blockages from your body systems. Allow 50-60 minutes for these visits.
