Your First Visit: What to Expect
Acupuncture First Visit
At your first visit, we will go over the confidential health history, review any current health imbalances, and make a plan to address them. Together, we will talk about what you would like to achieve from your acupuncture visits. I will feel your pulses to get information for my Chinese medical diagnosis. Then, as time permits, we will do either some massage or an acupuncture treatment. Allow 60-90 minutes for your first visit.
Subsequent Private Visits
At follow-up treatments, I will check in with you about any changes to your health, feel your pulses, then do a Chinese medicine treatment which may include: acupuncture, gua sha, cupping, infrared lamp, liniments, or moxa. You will then have time for a deep, healing rest while the acupuncture clears blockages from your body systems. Allow 50-60 minutes for these visits.
I am here for you!
Your goals are my priority. We are a collaborative team to support you in reaching your health goals. Feel free to speak up at any time if there is something I can do to make you more comfortable, or to support you better.
